Gear Reviews page is where we share the equipment, tools, and travel essentials that help make our adventures smoother, easier, and a lot more fun. Over the years we’ve tested plenty of gear—on cruise ships, in campgrounds, on trails, and everywhere in between—and we enjoy passing along what’s worked well for us (and what hasn’t). From RV accessories and campsite must‑haves to travel gadgets and packing favorites, these reviews come from real‑world use, not just unboxing.

If you’re getting ready for a trip or simply looking for ideas to upgrade your setup, we hope you’ll explore the posts here. Each review includes honest impressions, practical tips, and the little details we wish we’d known before buying. Take a look around and see what might help make your next adventure even better.

After over fifteen years of RV camping, we know what works for us and what will likely work for you. One of our favorite upgrades has been an Arvika bike rack that enables us to easy bring our bikes camping. In terms of safety, we think a tire pressure monitoring system is very helpful. And, after using it for a while, we now really appreciate having a travel trailer backup camera. While it can be tricky to use it to back in to a site, it comes in really handy to monitor vehicles approaching from the rear as you travel down the road.

Other gear we frequently use includes our kayak rack and bicycle pad. These enable us to get the most from our adventures as we can have the right things along on our adventures.

We are always trying new gear for our camper. With the new Imagine camper we purchased in 2025, we’ll have the opportunity to try some additional gear soon.
