We have been to some incredible places. While not every trip has to be a bucket list trip, we do have a few that we consider to be at that level. The kind of trip. that you are lucky to have once in a lifetime. So, while we are always planning our next trip, these are some of the bucket list trips we’ve been lucky enough to take.

Hawaiian Islands Cruise

One of our most amazing bucket list trips was a visit to the Hawaiian Islands including an NCL Pride of America cruise, time in Waikiki Beach, and a visit to Disney’s Aulani resort. Check out our landing page with links to all of the posts from our Hawaii Cruise series where we cover everything you need to know to plan your dream Hawaii cruise vacation.

Alaska Cruise Tour

Another bucket list trip with a cruise was a two-week Princess cruise tour in Alaska. Combining the best of both land and sea in Alaska, a cruise tour is a fantastic way to explore this great state. There were so many highlights it’s hard to share them all. But, we did our best in an eight-part post and video series covering where we stayed, how we traveled, what we saw, our best tips to help you plan a similar adventure.

National Park Camping Road Trip

We love camping and have had some amazing travel adventures in our camper. One that involved checking off a bucket list item was visiting Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky. We shared the highlights in our RV Road Trip KY TN YouTube video. We shared posts & videos of the whole adventure including stays at Cave Country RV Campground near Mammoth Cave, Seven Points COE campground outside Nashville, and the Margaritaville campground in Pigeon Forge.

RV Camping Trips

Not every camping trip has to be a bucket list trip. We love staying in state parks where there is usually hiking, biking, or kayaking available. Over the years, we have visited numerous state parks around the southeast. A few great ones include Mistletoe State Park in Georgia and Raven Rock State Park near Raleigh NC.

We’ve done camping trips to visit many historic places like Williamsburg, VA or Charleston, SC where was camped at the Mount Pleasant Charleston KOA. Of course we love visiting national parks. We really enjoyed visiting Harpers Ferry, MD and staying at the Harpers Ferry KOA.
