You know we love smoothies. So, when our daughter offered to make us a tasty Summer Smoothie, of course we said yes. Here is her take on a Mango Pineapple Strawberry Summer Smoothie.

The ingredients for the Mango Pineapple Strawberry Summer Smoothie are:
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup frozen mango
- 1 cup fresh pineapple
- 5 tablespoons orange juice
- 2 cups ice
- Water, pump your faucet on and off 4 times
- 1/2 teaspoon chia seeds
Add the liquid first, then the fresh and frozen ingredients. Blend until smooth. If needed, add additional liquid or ice to get the smoothie thickness you desire. After trying our Ninja blender, daughter commented that since the blades are toward the bottom, you may need to blend a bit longer than you expect or you may need to use a spatula to ensure a consistent mix.
We enjoyed this smoothie on a hot July day and it was very refreshing.
